The Checklist Manifesto: How to Get Things Right: On the power of checklists - both for tasks and on who needs to coordinate.
The Effective Hiring Manger: Basics on interviewing and hiring.
The Pyramid Principle: Logic in Writing and Thinking
Managing With Power: Politics and Influence in Organizations: A solid discussion around obtaining and using power in organization, not in a Machiavellian way, but in the context of power being the ability of getting things done.

Robert's Rules For Dummies: Formal rules for running large effective meetings.
Responsibility Center Budgeting (aka Responsibility Center Management): Worth a skim for those who work in an organization that uses RCB (such as IU). A good overview of a change management process rolling out RCB. Lots of fiscal details probably of limited interest.
The Accounting Game: Basic Accounting Fresh from the Lemonade Stand: Basics of accounting. Get the print copy to do the worksheets.
Succession: Are You Ready? (Memo to the CEO): Basics of selecting, coaching, and transitioning to a successor.
